LED Invention: The Way That All Began
The 1st time the researchers faced LEDs turned to be an occasional experiment. It was connected with the semiconductor Silicon Carbide (SiC). Accidentally in the first years of the twentieth century it was observed that it let out light when electrified. Still the discovery was not developed as the light produced by the semiconductor was not strong enough to serve for something. That was anyway not the end of the technology development.
