  • Cubicles: more interesting then you might think
The term "cubicle" originates from the Latin term cubiculum, which means bed chamber. In fifteenth century England the term was used in reference to small chambers, rooms and study spaces. It's easy to see how the term carried through the ages to refer to semi-private, divided workspaces that today's employees use, and perhaps the cubicle is more interesting than we originally thought.
