I used to be the most optimistic person you would ever run into a dozen years ago. The Law of Attraction was always working for me, it was a chain reaction of successes. But even back then it was not 100% all the time. I think it is because my intelligence is above average and I tend to analyze everything that comes my way. I am a big believer in positive thought as I do not subscribe to cable TV because of the amount of negativity in the news and such. At least with a newspaper or magazine I can choose to only read the positive stuff and not look at anything that is depressing.

  • Solar Power And Its Future  By : Calvin Joness
Thanks to the Bush Administrations Alternative Power Initiatives we are seeing money flowing to alternative energy research and great strides being made in the private sector. If you decide to power your house with a solar electric system, you will receive FREE power from the sun, once your system is paid for. The amount of power solar panels produce is determined by the quality of the solar panel and the materials and technology used in making the solar panel. In the meantime, solar power applications are being developed with a focus on hybrids. Because the sun will keep on shining, there will be no need to renew your primary source of solar power.
  • The Global Warming Hot Air  By : Calvin Joness
Indeed some believe Global Warming is a lot of hot air. We should be worried, as an escalating Middle-East war, even where not (yet) fought over energy or water, may give us an even shorter time than we have already to marshal resources to deal with the great threat of global warming. In our online think tank we have a section on Global Warming because people are talking about it, not because I necessarily believe that mankind’s activities is causing the planet to warm, as it appears to warm and cool all by itself over periods of hundreds and thousands of years due to all sorts of interrelated cycles and patters. Perhaps if we all had a clearer idea about the effects in our daily lives, we would try to do more about global warming. Basically global warming is the ascent of the earth’s surface temperature due to chemicals in the atmosphere. Some Global Warming Alarmists think it is too late to stop the effects of mankind on our atmosphere and that these adverse effects will cause the triggering of super storms, freak weather and catastrophic situations. Indeed Urban Heat is an issue, but it is not global warming and it is unwise to infer that these storms are being caused by global warming. Receding glaciers, rising sea levels, dying coral reefs, migrating plants and animals, reduced daily temperature fluctuations, and more pronounced and frequent "extreme precipitation events” (a large amount of precipitation in a short amount of time) are all suggested by today’s climate models as a consequence of global warming. Some Global Warming alarmists are now thinking it is time to invest in House Boat Stocks and pick out a big ship to live on? Sometimes I think China needs me to go run things and then I figure they have a lot of very smart people in the world to choose from, but it is readily apparent that they are looking for short-term gains against the backdrop of 10,000 years of written recorded history of long-term strategic thinking. Yet also consider that if the US were to stop its pollution then our industrial might would be severely hampered and if China and other nations did not do the same then the playing field would be so far tipped that trade deficits would increase to an alarming rate and even more industry would move to foreign shores. One way of contributing to the reduction of global warming pollution is by perhaps changing the type of light bulb that you use. Technology cooperation is another innovation that is helping the international community to deal with the problem of global warming. If you don't like it very hot then what comes next would be even worse and shouldn’t we be talking about global cooling and not global warming? It is unfortunate that liberals are pushing a global warming agenda, which does not exist and using bogus academic reports to back up their political ambitions. The global warming issue is a complex one. They talk of crop failures, long term droughts, flash floods and re-distribution of giant ice bergs causing changes in the balancing of tectonic plates triggering seismic events, Tsunamis and a host of other issues with sea currents, weather flows and then moving us into an ice age which might last over 10,000 years? Urban heat is one thing mankind is doing by planting concrete everywhere, but those changes in weather flows are generally regional and dissipate.

Wind turbine generators do little to harm the environment and are far preferable in this regard to fossil fuel. The only disadvantage is that they cannot be used everywhere. In order to effectively use turbines to generate wind power you would need an average wind speed of at least 13 miles per hour. Obviously, that is not found everywhere.

  • The True Story How Tesla Almost Redirected The History Of The Automobile And Prevented Air Pollution  By : GARKO
Genius scientist Nikola Tesla had an Electric Pierce Arrow back in 1930, Internal Combustion Engine was removed and replaced an Electric Motor. The energy was supplied from a black box of radio tubes, in the glove compartment. There was an antennae sticking out of the box. Tesla would fool with some tuners and tune in the right frequency and 240 volts would zap the car through the air system! . The car ran almost silent. He kept the car hidden in a barn near Niagra Falls. He had somehow figured a way to tap the local power plant’s energy emanation and direct to his car engine. Tesla said this power was something that everyone could tap into. J.P.Morgan, ruling elite world banker and co founder of the Federal Reserve, did not like the idea. The bastard stopped funding and Tesla's Wardencliffe Tower was taken down. We were denied FREE power. Now we pay for gas & SMOG.

  • The Meaning of Aga Khan  By : Ibrahim
As is universally acknowledged, the conferment of a title is a mark of distinction recognizing performance, achievement, eminence and excellence. A title, be it civil or military, temporal or ecclesiastical, denotes a designation of class, stature and dignity. By the same token, all titles do have basic meanings and background in their conferment.

We, the Ismailis associate ourselves deeply with the name or rather the title "Aga Khan" and we are so much used to being addressed by our beloved Imam as ‘Yours affectionately’ - ‘Aapke Pyare’ - ‘Shafqat ke Saath’ - ‘Tamaro Mamtarru’ Aga Khan that we seldom pause to think of how the title of ‘Aga Khan’ to our last four Imams came to be, or what it really means.
