After they watch true blood season 1, a lot of critics hailed True Blood and made the series as the best television show they have seen in quite a while, and no wonder why people are talking about what makes the series so special and powerful. True Blood is not just popular on television but also bring its popularity through the net. Is it the cinematography and the lush graphics, Alan Ball’s sensibility which he mastered in his film “American Beauty and clearly brought on the television with True Blood or is it the actors’ whip smart dialogue which was delivered flawlessly each and every week? All of them can be the reason why True Blood is the most entertained series by the viewer nowadays. Or is it, perhaps, as many fans and critics alike have suggested – the realistic portrayal and depth of the amazing characters, originally made by Charlaine Harris in her fantastic series of books.

Sookie Stackhouse-The naïve and telepathic waitress who is also the main character of the show. The life of Sookie turned upside down when she embarks and agrees to have a relationship with the other lead character, who is a vampire hidden in the name of Bill.

Bill Compton- Bill who is the vampire that was linked to Sookie, lived for two hundred years already, and was tortured by his dual nature. Having a blood thirsty vampire instinct will not let him be entirely human, but his human core will not let him easily surrender to his base reptilian mind.

Jason Stackhouse- Jason is the brother of Sookie, even the two have their differences, both of them still remain loyal to one another. If you want to know where their differences have started you better watch true blood season 1 to understand it a bit.

Tara Mae Thornton- Tara is the best friend of Sookie. She grew up with her alcoholic mother namely Lettie Mae, and she really idolized Jason, because Jason protected her from Lettie Mae when they were still children.

Sam Merlotte- Sam is the owner of the bar and grill where Sookie and Tara are working. By the way Sam is a “shifter” meaning he can shift from human to animal or vice versa. Sam is desperately in love with the main character Sookie, but it is as yet unrequited.

Bon Temps- The town where all of the main characters are living, despite of being a town it is still like a character on a show.
