Fife or the kingdom of Fife as it is known in Scotland is one of the most popular areas to live in all of Scotland and it’s easy to see why so many people are choosing to rent property in Fife. The Royal and Ancient Golf Club founded in 1754 in St Andrews has been the home of golf for centuries and is the most regular home of the Open the oldest of all the major championships in the world. Fife is not only home to the course at St Andrews, there are many throughout the area all of varying degree of difficulty but all fantastic courses. Fife is easily accessible to the rest of Scotland, with the likes of Edinburgh just a 30 minuet drive from many of the towns and villages in Fife. This makes the area an ideal commuter home as you get all the advantages of living in a beautiful part of the country and the life style it brings with being able to work and shop in the cities. The principle towns are Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes with a third of all the people in Fife living in these towns. However there are many more towns and villages throughout the area all with there own charms and style.
