Who Are Your Customers? Do They Know Who YOU Are?

One big factor in maintaining a business, especially a small business is in knowing who your customers are. I don't mean several hundred names on a database, I mean developing a personal business relationship with those customers that bring you business and referrals. In fact, every name on your database already knows you exist, how can you increase the likelihood of a future business relationship?

Make these customers feel like they are the best customer you have during every contact. If they are in your place of business, give them your full attention without interruption. The same goes for phone contact.

Give them the product or service they expect in a timely manner. Respect their deadlines and be open to reasonable requests.
