You simple create two of the same ad, but change the headline and then track the click through rates of each to determine the best headline. A/B testing is very easy to interpret since there are only two variables. This is an easy way to test multiple options and determine the results. This is especially helpful if you can't purchase the software or are new to testing. Software is not needed to utilize the A/B testing method; however a statistics program should be used to monitor the amount of traffic received to each version and a way to track the response rate of the traffic. You A/B testing will be successful provided you can track how much traffic you received to each campaign during a given period of how many actions were taken. For small home business generally A/B testing works very well. If you are adding new content to your website, changing a headline color, changing wording on your buy or join buttons, this method is simple to implement and determine how your visitors are going to react to the change. However, if you are developing a brand new website and you want to test different rudiments then the multivariant testing method will help you determine the best to use for good conversion rates. A lot of marketers do not do any testing at all. This is because they believe they know their market and know what their market is looking for. This is a huge misconception and generally costs the marketer lost sales. Your website visitors may think they like a certain version of an ad or website better, but in reality they may respond better to another version when given that option.
