What Did You Heard About HP Touch Smart Screen TX2

HP knosw that we do not sipmly want to use our Windows 7 ($ 75.99) Touch laptops for spinning the virtual world or crreating rippples in the fake water. (Not that tere's anything wrong with that.) That's why the company is brining the entire experience from the big screen TouchSmart all-in-one PC for thir 12.1-inch multitouch convertible in time for the luanch of Windows 7. Not only the touch inteface on the rfreshed TX2 much better than anything else we use on a laptop, HP is adding new Cool Apps, as Twittr and Hulu, with more in the futurte. From $ 799, TX2 looks idenntical to the version we tested back in Decemmber last year. Do not get me wrong, this sttylish design (complete with a reaction scheme), but at 5 pounds with the extended battey and 1.5 inches thick, a convertible is not quite slim. What makes the "new" TX2 stand what it does touch.

In contast, very limited software bundle HP MediaSmaart earlier, this machine has a full TouchSmart HP's treatment, which means it has the same intterface is slick tile and almiost all the same applications. They include photos, muusic, weather, notes, games, touch-friendly web browser, and much more. Just as on the desktop, you can move smaall objects menu in the main menu by dragging a bar up or vice versa. What is the use of Hulu and Twitter?

During our brief time with the pracical TX2 App Hulu we found to be more convincing. It is basically ientical to the program Desktop Hulu, optimizeed for tuoch input. We were easy to find popular shows, playing mostly smooth and easy to pasue playback and prss the menu buttoon at any time to find something else to watch. Plus, unlike a dektop application, you can see the skin HP TouchSmart, aboive the play, which includes the button "Home" (output), sliding volume controls and battery indicator.

App Twitter was also quite friendly relations, atlhough we are not sure why he invited us to entewr each time. Switching between the updates from all your frieends and mntions a direct communicaions were seamlessly figner. And, if you're in tablet mode, you can enter updates with the fingers a decvent amount of Windows 7 on-screen keyborad (which appears to tap a finger). Not enough of a tool for reducing the URL, as well as the opportunity to Tweet photos.

Another touch-friendly applkications include Netflix (for movies and manage the queue), HP music (hwich includes Rhapsody and Pandoora), and TouchSmart Canavs (for organizng the photo libvrary). Sorry, chef in training, the applkication recipe box only for deskotp computers.

So under the hood of this syastem? Based on the specifications for TX2-1377nr, you look at the 2.2-GHz AMD Turion X2 RM-75 Processor, 4 GB RAM, 320GB hard drrive and writing DVD. Coelom, TX2 played we seemed snappier than adultts TX2Z, but we think that has more in common with software updates, than the components. However, we found that the latest HP All-In-Ones, as oTuchSmart 300 and 600, were more responses. With TX2, in some cases, we loked at that little Ring Of Fire graphcal expectations Touch applications to load more than we would have preferred.

Coelom, TX2 offers signifciantly improved communications experience compared with his predecessor and the priec is still reasnable. We would, howebver, that this spot a new interface has been paired with a thin and light design. Expect a full review.
