Travel System Review: Quinny Buzz 4

By: Ella Garcia

The Quinny Buzz is one of the most popular and bestselling baby pushchairs nowadays, and for good reason. But is it the right pushchair for you? Read what we think of it and find out for yourself.

Quinny Buzz 4: The Pros

The Quinny Buzz 4 has pneumatic tyres that will allow you to steer the pushchair with ease even on the most difficult terrains, whether it be country roads or gravel lanes.

Buzz 4 pushchair is the ideal buy if you value luxury, good looks and versatility. The back can be reclined to 3 positions, the seat unit can face either way, and the handles, lockable front swivel wheels, footrest are all adjustable.

The extendable leg rest, padded shoulder straps, padded seat, fully reclinable back support, adjustable and padded 5- point harness, padded bumper bar, and UV protective hood makes it a luxurious experience for your sleeping baby. It's easy to feel that it's super soft and comfy inside, and it's shock resistant so your child will surely love it.

An awesome feature is the self-unfolding hydraulic technology, with a release of a mechanism the pushchair unfolds all by itself. Amazing!

The Quinny buzz also has the following features:

* It is made of light weight matte silver aluminium.
* Easy to fold and unfold.
* Easy brake system.

The Cons:

The pushchair is a beauty to look at, but with a slight problem: the storage space is limited, being comprised of a small clip on bag that hangs at the bottom of the stroller.

The seat of this pushchair may be perfect for infants and kids up to 20kg, the baby stroller system's only drawback is that one cannot seat a big child on it as it might just be too tight and uncomfortable. Luckily this problem had been resolved because Quinny now supplies 2 seats (a small and a big one) with every Quinny Buzz 4 purchase!

The Buzz 4 is quiet bulky too and might be a challenge to fit in a small car. The baby stroller can also take up a lot of space when folded and might pose as a problem if you own a small sized car.

Weighing nearly 15 kg, you will definitely tone those arms by carrying the Buzz 4 everyday (which is a good thing, right?), however some parents may find it rather heavy so if you want to buy it make sure you bear this in mind. It also lacks a carry handle (unlike Maclaren models) so you may need to use both hands, making it less convenient to carry when you need to.

Conclusion

The Quinny Buzz 4 Baby Travel System may not be the best pushchair when it comes to storage space, and neither is it light nor compact, but it is a highly adjustable, stable, versatile, shockproof, highly manoeuvrable, comfy to push and extremely good-looking travel system. However much we fault it, Quinny Buzz 4 is such an eye candy, we just can't help but look past its flaws!
