Be sure to stick with your time schedule for taking the puppy outside. I can not stress enough how important this is!
Regular scheduling for going to the bathroom is as important to the puppy as feeding times.
You will notice that once your puppy has became accustomed to feeding times, you will see the anticipation of the puppy by its actions as those times get near.
This will also happen when it is time for him to go outside!
Once you build this new relationship with your puppy you will both be on your way to understanding and respecting one another's standing in the hierarchy of your relationship.
