One of the biggest jobs a photographer can land is wedding photography. And photography is one of the most popular hobbies for people to undertake. Not all people do it for money. For those amateur hobby photographers taking wedding photos is exciting. So if you have a friend getting married you can surprise them with some shots that may be better than the hired photographer. So here are some ways to do that. These are some tips for an amateur photographer but they are some tips I have gained doing San Diego wedding photographer work. So if you are already a professional these tips can help you too. Because as I mentioned earlier a wedding shoot could be one of the biggest jobs for a photographer. So the first thing you want to do is be in the moment. What am I trying to say? Well, most of us know what happens in a wedding. The events here are planned to the last detail. But a lot of emotions are being displayed even if the events are planned. Since you have been to many wedding be ready for those moments. Those shots that have emotions in them will be the best among all the photos that you will be taking. In my portfolio as a San Diego photographer you can see that to be the case. Another tip is to realize the wedding is a fluid event. So do not focus on taking still shots. You will have some of your best photos if you capture the movement of the people. It will be hard to do but it is doable. Of course I had to hone my skills doing San Diego event photography to be able to do this. But once you capture some shots that are more than still shots you will love it. You can outshoot their hired photographer. It would be great to achieve since you are still an amateur. And you can even brag about your shots to your friends. Plus, it can be the start of an extra-income job.
