When you come to Somerset you're going to be looking for a lot of different things to do and various places to see. Popular attractions include manor houses and castles, of which Somerset has many. One might think that they all look the same, but this is not true. Each one of them is unique, has different architectural features, and offers a great deal of beauty for people who come to see them on their holidays. Whether you live close by or a long way from Somerset, it's worth the trip to see what the area has to offer. Museums and Cheddar Gorge come to mind when thinking of things to see in that area, as well. There is much to learn about the rich history and culture of the Somerset area, but there are different ways to do that, depending on the likes and dislikes of a particular person.

A popular attraction in Somerset is Bath. If you're going to Somerset, it's a place that you don't want to miss because it's a World Heritage City. The culture and the history that the city has to offer are impressive and sometimes hard to believe for someone who isn't used to an area that has so much to offer. Bath has a lot of shopping, and a huge new shopping centre is being constructed. In addition to that there are many smaller shops as well as cultural centres, museums, great restaurants, and other attractions to keep you entertained and content during your stay. You'll never be at a loss for something to do in Bath or throughout the rest of Somerset.
