The Rise of Machines

God made man and man made machines. Machines or gadgets and gizmos play a dominant role and occupy a significant place in the day-to-day life of almost all men and women. It’s impossible to imagine a man or a woman living without his or her gadgets and gizmos around. The importance and dependence of individuals on them has grown to such an extent that people rise from their bed and retire to the bed with machines. The basic human tendency of living life with comforts and luxuries around and thus saving time and energy has given rise to machines being used almost everywhere.

Gadgets are looked upon as something that not only provide comfort but also cut down on your time, money and energy. With the advent of PC, you tend to get everything with just a single mouse click. Distances are cut down and your time is also saved. You don’t have to go to your desired destination in order to get your work done. Things have become more feasible and convenient with the gadgets and gizmos at your disposal. The remote control, which was considered to be the quickest, has been outclassed by the computer mouse which covers a larger spectrum of activities.

Gadgets have become a crucial and inevitable part of one’s life. Several types of gadgets have been invented till date with most of them being daily necessities. Gadgets ranging from your telephone to your refrigerator have all become a part of the family. Living life without them is like living in pre-historic times, but it was precisely in that time that man started making useful gadgets like the pulley to make his life comfortable and easy.

In today’s times, the use of gadgets can’t be avoided. Also their existence and their importance in our life can’t be neglected. We make use of our PC for innumerable reasons and we also use our cell phone for reaching out to our dear ones at the blink of an eye. All these reasons have made the gadgets an unavoidable part of our life. Also we use these gadgets and gizmos for gifting purposes. We are overwhelmed and happy when we get gadgets as gifts. Also it has become a trend today to give gadgets as gifts, and they score over other gift items as they have a functional use.

The gadgets and gizmos act as boy’s toys as people, mostly young men, are inclined towards playing games on their mobile phones and on the Internet. They are addicted to these gadgets to such an extent that they resemble kids playing with their toys.

Many such things are responsible for the meteoric growth of gadgets and gizmos that are considered as big boy’s toys around the world.
