When you look at the past Ages of man from caveman days until now you have to ask yourself one burning question… what truthfully is the Age that we are living in today? The Space Age fizzled. Noone went very far into space but we got Star Trek out of it! But what is this Age we are in today? . I think it would be easy to find agreement if we just admitted that we are in the Hydrocarbon Fuel Age. Oil is part of most of what you see…well, petroleum is. And Earth’s finances and its hostilities are based on its energy supply, so is its environmental meltdown, its horrors from pharma corruption (the pills are made from petroleum!). I could go on but I feel that my point is pretty obvious. What about we turn the page and see what is coming up next? The post-Hydrocarbon Fuel Age will be unrecognizable to the people of today’s world. Centralized power plants spewing smoke and toxins will be dumped in the landfill of history: there will be no power grid. The grid will begin to drop off and die during the transition to distributed New Energy devices, which as rapid and with comparable drama as the conversion to the era of information via computers and the web that began in the mid-1970s. Smog which stem back to hydrocarbon-fuel combustion will be a thing of the past. In a world of free and potent energy (no substantial recurring costs for the energy), all the world’s populations will become richer. People will be empowered with much greater opportunity to be self reliant as they are unchained from central controlling elite power brokers that today control energy use. (Governments will do what governments have done throughout history, they will try to tax and control the use of energy, but they will fail—just in the same fashion that they have failed so far in trying to tax the Internet.) The building of self sustaining homes and communities will be possible anywhere where construction materials can be imported to—in remote forests, atop mountains, on uncharted islands, on the surface of bodies of oceans, and even submerged on ocean or lake floors! There will be no geographic localization of fuel resources (such as in the Middle East today), so the wars over oil resources will disappear with a key underlying cause. Cheap desalination and water pumping will make deserts bloom. It will be extremely cheap to produce clean, potable water pretty much any place. Agriculture will fundamentally change, as New Energy makes fertilizer, light, heat, cooling and protection from insect pests available anywhere:. Through discoveries already discovered in the field, rendering of nuclear water waste products and depleted uranium inert will be easy to accomplish— reduce it to non-radioactive forms. And, amazing but almost inevitable, it will be possible to manufacture rare elements inexpensively through reactions— yes, an age of “modern alchemy” will emerge. Possibly it will be known as the Age of Alchemy! I know, it sounds quite “utopian”. When does it all start? It has already started.
