The Confessions of an Exotic Dancer

I am an Exotic Dancer and I have a confession to make….
I never imagined finding myself in this type of profession and found it hard to believe that I was able to find my strength to be in this field. It all started out when I graduated high school. At that time I decided to make a big decision to leave my parents house and be independent on the big city.
So there I was on the big city and trying my best to find a job that would support my needs and education. I started out waiting on tables and soon have to give it up because it was not enough to pay for the apartment and the rest of my needs. I also have to think about college education and all the expenses that come with it.
I met a friend who was an exotic dancer and got interested with her chosen profession. I needed the money badly to pay the university because I don’t want to keep on paying for a college loan for the rest of my life. I mean, many would rely on a college loan and still be in debt after 20 years of working. I don’t want that way of life and decided it’s time for me to earn more.
My friend became my mentor and she showed the tricks of the trade. At first I thought that being an exotic dancer is an easy job. And boy, I was wrong! I never realized that there is a lot to learn and it takes a lot of discipline to be able to survive in the industry. I have to enroll in a dance class and develop my strip dancing skills. I also have to take a little bit of acting lessons for me to be able to live the role of a female fantasy.
I became an illusionist. Once I stepped in the lime light, I become a different person. I am not just an exotic dancer but I could be the goddess that every man longs for. I am the female fantasy and I can have all eyes turn on my direction. On the stage I can be whoever I want to be. It’s not easy and it takes a lot of skill to be able to make heads turn and have man yearn and keep coming back for more.
It was a different life when I am on stage performing. I learned to live a double life and set my goal that once I’m done with college, I’ll be quitting. I learned to enjoy my every minute on the stage and develop a character that can be expected from an exotic dancer. I earned more and more and became the master of my craft. When it was time for me to quit, I felt sad because I will surely miss the attention. I confess I got addicted with the fame that came with the job but I don’t have to be one anymore because I am now a debt-free lawyer….
