It’s never easy but in a lot of sports, including golf, it is almost a necessity. Unfortunately, we often ask our friends and partners, when in reality we should use a Professional to take a few golf lessons. A Professional could be harsh with his comments, but they are honest, positive and very helpful. Golf lessons are not as expensive as you might think and most local courses use a Professional who generally provides lessons. You benefit because your game will improve rapidly and cause you less frustration. The game becomes much more enjoyable for you and shows to your playing partners. This makes that you are not quite the newcomer they thought you to be when first starting. Be honest about your game. The Professional will ask you what you want to start your golf lessons with; driving, chipping, putting or whatever you feel you need help with. However, if you are a complete newcomer let him set out a programme of golf lessons. Listen carefully and follow his instructions. You may have doubts if the Professional changes your stance, your grip or your swing; but he knows best. Ask questions. Do not worry if you think the question or concern may seem stupid. The Professionals will have heard it all before and will not make you feel like an idiot. If you are still not sure, tell him/her that you are still uncertain or do not understand. You should never finish a lesson with unanswered questions. Concentrate on one thing during a golf lesson. You might start with a lesson in driving; get the right grip, the right stance, the right swing, the right follow-through, and then practice it. At the start of your next lesson spend a few moments of practice to show you have not forgotten the benefit of what you learnt in your previous lessons then move onto putting or chipping. You will have spent a lot of money on your equipment. It makes sense to learn how to use it to improve your game and get the benefit of having golf lessons. Play Golf for FREE
