Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) can affect people in any age, although in most cases it appears in early childhood. Excessive manner of speaking 5. Being in constant motion Symptoms of Impulsivity 1. Giving answers without hearing the whole question 2. Unable to wait for his or her turn’ 3. Continually interrupting others 4. Uncontrolled outburst of strong emotions or temper tantrums Typical behavior of people with ADHD varies by age. The presence of ADHD at children and teens is easy to detect due to the assessment of academic performance and socialization abilities. The symptoms of ADHD in adults can be slightly noticeable, therefore many people with ADHD have not been diagnosed and treated. This might lead to a number of problems such as depression and difficulty keeping a job. ADHD can cause many problems in life if it stays to be untreated. Therefore it is highly important to identify the symptoms and choose the right treatment based on personal characteristics. However, medication should not be the primary treatment in this case, it is just necessary to provide social support and assistance.
