As a result The Shambles is one of the most visited streets in Europe. There are many other fine examples of architecture from this time period around the city making it one of the most beautiful cities in the whole of the UK. History and architecture fans will absolutely love it.

The country side is perhaps the most impressive aspect of Yorkshire. Its varied landscapes and stunning scenery will appeal to the lovers of the outdoors as well as those who don’t tend to venture outside of the cities that often. The varied terrains make Yorkshire a paradise of outdoor sports with mountain biking, surfing, caving, climbing and paragliding very popular. But there are many, many less strenuous pursuits in the countryside too. Some of the countries most magnificent stately homes are found here as well as ancient historic building and some of the most beautiful cost line you will find.
