Every year, and probably even more often than that, there are new rules sent out to the general population. These are not laws governing finances or behavior. In all fairness, as research continues into the effects that different foods have on our bodies, the researchers continue to learn more. When tobacco was first being raised as a cash crop in the United States, no one knew of the harmful effects that the plant could have. When tomatoes were first discovered, they were believed to be poisonous. Both of those popular beliefs have obviously since been overturned. Still, as the research into positive and negative effects of different foods continues to refine. The findings are becoming sometimes contradictory and yet they are always seen as significant. The studies into the effects of consuming a diet high in animal products have been somewhat conclusive. Vegetarian Meals on the Go Stacking on crackers is a fun way for kids to get a meal on the road. Pack some individual baggies with cheeses, fruit slices, cucumber and zucchini slices and of course, crackers. Even you will enjoy making different stacking combinations for a quick and crunchy lunch. Sandwiches, while less crunchy, are also a very easy on the road solution for what's for lunch. Pack a few in the morning and they will be ready for lunch. If you get tired of the peanut butter and jelly standby, try adding a little variety to your sandwich making. Mix a few cooked pinto beans and mayo if you like, into your leftover guacamole. The tomatoes and onions add flavor and texture and the whole mixture ends up being a delicious bean salad sandwich. If you do bring foods that require refrigeration, make sure to stick them in an insulated bag with some ice. - This is a definite factor to consider when deciding on your diet. Also, livestock produce more carbon dioxide gas which can contribute to global warming. Being a vegetarian is helpful to your health, the health of animals, and the health of the environment! What more could you ask for? Hopefully these facts have opened up some new information to you. The vegetarian decision is not an easy one to arrive on, but if you have the self-control and perseverance to become a vegetarian, you will be doing wonderful things for yourself and the rest of the world.
