In the near future the simple power of The Magnaclean Filter is going to call for them to be installed in every home, school and office building. The filters have been put through rigourous tests (by the Government no less!)to see how effective the Magnaclean is at improving the energy efficiency of central heating systems. An equal share of new and old homes were used in the testing. The new homes that have had no time to build up sludge in their system water will of undoubtably brought the average figure way down. For older homes (98% of the UK) the numbers could be much higher than 12% with some older systems losing up to 40% of heating costs due to sludge accumulation. Such is the secret problem of sludge inefficiency it is likely that as Magnaclean's reputation grows the Government will give it pride of place in their CO2 reduction plans. So with such great results it is my prediction that in the next 3 years the Government will include the Magnaclean Filters in their Part L Building Regulations (Energy Conservation)and promote the installation of them across the country. And that time will not come soon enough as the constant increase in energy prices has meant that keeping your heating system clean has never been more important. Saving 12-20% on your heating bill is worth around 150-300 pound now but if the rises continue it'll be worth a heck of a lot more. In that summer of 2008 energy prices rose 42% and once the recession/depression slackens it is likely that you can anticipate a 2008 increase every year. It's simple supply and demand.Despite what is said the world is not running out of Oil and Gas as most rumourmongers dictate, there is almost 1 trillion dollars worth of oil still left in the ground. Admittedly the UK may be running out but the real problem is that the oil can not be taken out of the ground and brought to market quick enough to keep up with the demand. Recently the world has gotten alot smaller, mainly because of the internet, and for the first time ever countries like China are seeing the benefits of the Western lifestyle which they once cursed. They see a higher standard of living and there people and their governments will do anything to get it. This has lead to a huge development effort which requires huge amounts of oil, this oil in the past would be free to be sold to the developed countires like the U.S. and UK. For example countries like Venezuela, they one of the largest Oil producing nations and instead of selling it on they are now keeping it back so they are able to develop. There are 9 newly industrialised countries according to the World Bank, all of which have large populations that require massive amounts of oil and increase the global demand ever year. Countries like Mexico, South Africa, Brazil, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Turkey with a combined population of around half a billion. Then there is China and India with a combined total of 2.5 billion. All together there are an extra 3 billion people (half the population of the world) whose countries are reliant on oil and gas. This has just happened in the last 20 years so it's no wonder energy prices have doubled in the last decade. Also these newly oil dependant populations are growing at an alarming rate. Every 8 years the increase in these 9 countries is equal to the population of the USA. Imagine finding enough oil to satisfy the demand of another USA every 8 years. So really the summer of 2008 was just the beginning. The cost of oil and heating is going to continue to rise at levels never seen before. One thing for sure is the 12-20% savings you get from a Magnaclean are going to keep paying your installation investment back many times over.
