Planning a summer wedding? If you are, you'll probably want to do some special things to try to look extra gorgeous on your big day. Some of those things start a little earlier on, like losing a few pounds or letting your hair grow out a little bit. When it gets close to the day, though, why not have a spa day so you'll look and feel your best at your wedding? It's a special day that (hopefully!) will only come around once, and you want it to be everything that you planned for and dreamt about. If you don't feel happy with yourself or think you look your best it might put a little bit of a damper on that day, especially when you look at your wedding pictures in later years. Avoid all that. Take some time at the spa and soak up the relaxation and the luxury so that you'll be refreshed and revitalized. Many spas have options for brides to be and for their wedding parties, as well, so you could have your bridal shower at the spa. What a great way to celebrate with your closest family and friends – the ones that will be standing right there with you as you say your vows and commit yourself to a life with your loved one. You can go by yourself and relax but it's just not the same, and as your big day gets closer and you get more nervous and excited you'll definitely want someone else to talk to and share in all your happy stress. If you're going to have a spa shower, though, make sure that everyone who's coming to it knows what they'll need to bring and what kinds of treatments they'll be getting. Having an opportunity to do something in a group before getting any individual treatments is also important. It's not as much fun to meet at the spa, say hello, and then all go off to separate areas. A yoga class, a steam room, a Jacuzzi, or something else where you can all gather is a great opportunity to mingle and talk. No matter what all you decide to do that day, your trip to the spa can help you relax and be ready for your wonderful wedding day.
