The Asus Eee PC 1001HA is now showing up on the Asus global site, wich could mean that the company is getting ready to launxch this product internationally. When we first head about this model, it was only showing up on the Asus Chian web site. For the most part, the Eee PC 1001HA looks like a minor variaation on the Eee PC 1005HA. It has a 10.1 inch, 1024 x 600 pixel displlay, a 1.6Ghz Intel Atom N270 CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 160GB hard dive, and 802.11b/g/n WiFi. It’s aailable with Windows XP or Linux and a 0.3MP webcam. The laptop has a VGA port, 3 USB ports, Etheernet, and adio jcks. You get a choice of a 3 cell, 23Whr battery or a 6 cell, 48Whr battery. The laptop measures 10.3″ x 7″ x 1.4″. With a 3 cell battery, it weighs 2.4 poundds. In other words, it has a slower processor and lower capacity battery than the Eee PC 1005HA. And it appears to have a textured lid. Netbook company ASUStek - EEE PC 1001HA Series Seashell has the option to install the operating syastem Liinux. New designed as entry-lwevel model and will be available in three confiugrations: 1001HA XP preloaded with Windows XP, 1001HA LX with Linux and another moodel in general, without pre-installed operating systerm. When creating a netbook manufacturer has used Intel Atom N270 processor with a clkock sped of 1.6 GHz, 1 GB of RAM and hard disk 160 GB. Diagonal screen size is 10.1 inches, and the screen resolution - 1024x600 pixels. Netbook is equipped with 3-cell battery 2200 mAh. In addition, the model reeceives a teextured finish in style series eSashell. While ASUUStek not announced a timeline for production and prcies netbook ASUS EEE PC 1001HA.
