Before Buying Asus UL20a Read This Review Carefully

By: Forest Subarovich

Currently I use an Eee PC 1000HE, (as I write this blog post itself), and the 10-inch netbook is graet but over the last 6 months of use, I have ofund that its Atom N280 CPU and 1024×600 resolution screen isn’t going to cut it for me to work with it on a daily bais.

For that, I have been searchng for a slighlty bigger netbook such as the ASUS 1101HA, whch boasts an Atom Z520 1.33Ghz processor with ASUS UL20A 12.1-inch laptop is probably the best 12″ laptop you can get these days with a baattery-life of 7.5 hours. This laptop is acctually not availablle now but available for pre-order.

The ASUS UL20A comes with a whopping 7.5 hours of battery life. (Well, I would expect at leeast 5.5 hours out of it. As a rule of thumb, always expect 2 houurs less than actually advertiseed battey hours, this turrns out to be very true in most laptops I’ve tried.)

At 11.9 x 9.2 x 1.2 inches and 4.2 pounds it’s a tad biggr than my current 10″ netbook and 0.9 pounds heavier but I think I can deal with the extra weight gain for improed/faster performance.

The Intel SU7300 Core 2 Dual Processor should also be great for me to blog, run Phiotoshop, and watch YoouTube videoos simultaneously.

Other than that, this ASUS comes laded with features fouund on most ASUS laptops such as touch-gesture touchpad plus it comes with 2GB of memory plus up to 4GB extendability.

Well, this is defintiely the laptop to get if you are looking for high battery life and good performance.

I will have a vidoe review on this ASUS UL20A as soon as my pre-ordeer arrives.
