The stigma associated with wearing a wig or hairpiece has long past! Remember the time years ago, when one could almost bet one's last dollar that any person wearing a wig was bald underneath? This was often proven to be true when looking at classic situation comedy shows of years gone by, on television, where there was always a scene of a woman wearing a wig that would be promptly snatched off by some mischievous person, hoping to illicit a quick laugh. Some even, in an effort to make a dramatic entrance, may want to try something outrageous and out of the norm…just to make a statement.
The wearing of hair enhancements is nothing new and has always been a tinsel town secret. Many famous celebrities have always taken advantage of the benefits of being able to change a look at a moment's notice. Tell me now, looking back, in your heart of hearts, did you really believe that it was humanly possible for those action stars to prance around in the Hollywood sun and heat while maintaining the same curl pattern throughout? Did you ever attempt to try doing some of the same things yourself. Puhlease! I'm here to tell you: They had a bit of 'help'.
While, this used to be something that was formerly kept "hush, hush", it is now oftentimes a secret that many proudly do not mind revealing. This is especially so, with one particular talk show host who openly talks about her "weave", while encouraging her audience to not be afraid of trying the same.
Again, it has been only during recent times that this has been an accepted practice among the general public, but Hollywood has known about it all along. Let us just say it again for emphasis: There is absolutely nothing wrong with changing your hair. .
So go ahead. Experiment. You will find that it is both cheaper than a breast augmentation and much easier to reverse.
