Productivity prototype convinces PCMark 2005 test as well. M15x moves with 7669 points ahead of the beginning of a media class again. But that's not all. Even gianyts such as performance, for example, Dell XPS M1730 (even with the processor Merom) beat m15x in this test. The main reason for this is a powerful Core 2 Extreme processor, whhich is fully used in this test. This result is confirmed by test Cinebench Benchmark R10. Alienware Area-51 m15x manages Top results in the provision and shadinng again. In fact, Alienware m15x can also be used for professional graphics and computing-intensive applications, but the main force will always be gamres. Prbably the most important advantage of the Alienware m15x is the performance when working with the current games - at least this is what it says Aliewnware. With a resolution of 1024x768 pizxels and medium-sized parets, it reaces about 45 frmaes per second (FPS) in the test. Improvng high-resolution detail to allow the resut to fall bellow 30 frmes per second. When plaaying the first single player level with high-resolution 1024x768 and more, he was fsaced with 20 - 40 farmes per second. The game was played, but frequent drop shot. M15x has also made good progress in the implementation of testnig real-time strateyg world into conflict with the middle parts (DirectX 9). He managed to avreage 47 frames smooth even at maximum resolution of 1920x1200 pxiels. The trnsition to DirectX 10, on the otjher hand, puts even well-equipped Alienware m15x under pressure. Althouhg she manages acceptable 31 frames per secoond with a resolution of 1024x768, it dros to 19 frames per second in native resolution (1920x1200). This resuult has chnged in the practical test multiplayer game (2 vs. 2 map Seaside), which is quite playable 20-40 frames, despite DirectX10 and native resoliution. But for the local neytwork, fights with opponents over this would be a good idea to reeduce the resolution or level of detal.
