7 Gifts of Passion

By: Dawn McIntyre

"There are two great days in a person's life, the day we are born and the day we discover why." William Barclay

As we endeavour to create our beautiful lives, it is essential for us to become passionate about our gifts, our purpose and our projects. Passion is infectious and people will tend to rally to our support if only because of the passion we feel for life. Other gifts of passion include:

1. Persistence: when we feel passion for our lives, or for any aspect of our lives, we are better able to persist through delays, obstacles and challenges. The question is not whether or not these problems will arise; the question is how will we deal them? Passion goes along way for dealing with them persistently.

2. Path of Joy: being passionate puts us in alignment with our soul's joy, and we are consequently guided down our path of joy, making the process very magical in the process.

3. Prosperity: the vibration of passion, and its close alignment with that of joy, allows for the divine manifestation of prosperity on all levels. An abundance of time, money, and energy are the direct result of passion.

4. Clarity: this is essential in tapping in to our power to act on our passions. When we know what our purpose is, and we feel the passion for it, then the clarity that we need to successfully fulfill our purpose is second nature.

5. Inspiration: there is so much divine inspiration that comes from passion of purpose. Our spirits have the room to enter our thoughts and emotions and present us with genius level and very creative ideas as to how we may manifest our full soul potential. When we are really in this flow, the ideas, pictures and words come quite beautifully and magically.

6. Success: Ultimately we all want to success in life. However, in succeeding in creating a beautiful life passion is a pre-requisite. The commitment that we hold for creating success allows us to meet the universe half way and be divinely guided to positive and successful outcomes.

7. Fulfillment: How do we define fulfillment? And are we truly fulfilled without passionately pursuing our life's purpose? Fulfillment, in the latter case, is experienced as part of the process as well as when final outcome are reached. On the other hand, the process to fulfillment can be very difficult, harsh and painful without the awareness of what our soul's purpose is and becoming passionate about pursuing it with full commitment. This includes our relationships and our families and friendships as well as any creative or entrepreneurial endeavours.

While it is necessary to know what our purpose in order to become passionate it is not necessary to become passionate about finding out exactly what this for you. That is actually a very good place to start with your pursuit of passion. One mistake commonly made on this journey is that of perfection; especially if determine that our soul's potential calls us to do and be something completely out of our comfort zone. One very wise teacher of mine taught me, because of my propensity to delay action due to perfectionist tendencies was that "there is no room for perfection on the road to excellence." I invite you to join me in creating a beautiful, magical & passionate road to the expression of your soul's excellence.
